Job location: Caldwell, Idaho, USA
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory or product development role related to water filtration or water treatment.
• Strong understanding of water chemistry and common drinking water contaminants (e.g., chlorine, lead, VOCs, PFAS, pharmaceuticals).
• Hands-on experience with analytical instruments such as ICP-MS, UV-Vis, HPLC, GC, and TOC.
• Knowledge of filtration mechanisms including adsorption, ion exchange, and membrane separation.
• Experience designing filters in various formats (granular, block, pleated, compressed, and extruded).
• Familiarity with modeling tools for breakthrough simulation and media lifespan prediction.
• Experience leading media formulations through the development cycle into pilot or production stages.
• Familiarity with NSF/ANSI standards (especially 42, 53, 401, and P473) and EPA drinking water guidelines.
