Job location: Food Research Centre, Teagasc, Ashtown, Dublin

Requirements:

• A Level 8 degree, as recognised on the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent, in food science, bioprocessing, or a related discipline or a postgraduate degree and/or research experience in bioprocessing would be a distinct advantage.
• Excellent laboratory skills, organization skills, report writing and data analysis.
• People and resource management skills.
• Data handling and computer skills.
• Sample collection and pilot plant work.
• Knowledge of Irish agri-food landscape.
• Knowledge of analysis of agri-food by-products and wastewater.
• Knowledge of instrument calibration and validation.
• Technical competency in laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
