Job location: Delft Biotech Campus, Netherlands
Requirements:

• You hold a PhD degree in Food Technology, (Bio-)Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field with > 10 years of industrial experience or a Master's degree with >15 years of industrial experience in downstream processing. Experience in the Enzymatic processes or Fermentation derived food ingredients is a pre.  
• You have proficiency in theoretical concepts of separation technologies such as membrane filtration, extraction, centrifugation, and purification as well as know how to apply these DSP technologies in commercial applications. 
• You have extensive experience in process modeling, development, optimization, and up-scaling, with a focus on bioactive food ingredient production processes, preferably in Enzymes or recombinant processes.  
• You have familiarity with product regulatory requirements and experience in preparing and reviewing development reports, technical transfer documents, and standard operating procedures. 
• You possess strong leadership abilities and critical thinking, and do not mind challenging the status-quo. You are able to engage stakeholders across organization with business acumen in shaping projects. You guide junior colleagues, share knowledge and results of your work, along with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
