Job location: Jurong Island, Singapore
Requirements:

• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong research background in membrane technology and functional materials for selective separations.
• Track record of publishing papers on membrane science in top-tier journals and contributing to patents or technology commercialization.
• Demonstrated expertise in membrane fabrication techniques, including phase inversion, interfacial polymerization, etc.
• Hands-on experience with advanced membrane performance testing, including high-pressure crossflow filtration, dead-end filtration, and real-world application simulations.
• Proficiency in membrane characterization techniques, including SEM, TEM, AFM, FTIR, XPS, and rheology.
• Proven ability to manage research projects, supervise junior researchers, and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in grant writing and securing competitive research fundings is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting at international conferences.
