Job location: Delta, BC, Canada
Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science/engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• MSc or PhD with 10 years industrial experience in membranes evaluations/development and electrochemical engineering.
• Experience in ion exchange membranes testing, development, analysis, and electrochemical characterizations.
• Strong data analysis skills are essential. The candidate is expected to be proficient in developing a data-driven research program, using modern software tools to interpret and analyze large datasets in their experimental work. Demonstrable experience with python Numpy, or pandas is an asset.
• Apply statistical design of experiments to efficiently use resources and improve data quality. Analyze results using rigorous statistical analysis.
• Experience in the materials characterization techniques (e.g., XRD, SEM, EDX, AFM, FTIR).
• Experienced on identifying membranes and electrode failure mechanisms in electrochemical processes.
