Dear Professor,
I am writing to express my strong interest in the Postdoctoral position in your research group. My research background includes dielectrics materials, functional energy materials, electrochemical systems, and computational modeling. I am highly motivated to contributed to cutting-edge research under your esteemed guidance.
I am currently a Ph.D. student from the Department of Physics at IIT (BHU), Varanasi, India, and I am done the Pre Ph.D. defense and in the final stage of completing my doctoral thesis (submission expected by June-2026). My Ph.D. research initially focused in perovskite oxide materials for dielectric and electrical properties investigation, resulting peer-reviewed multiple publications. Subsequently, my research expanded toward advanced nanostructured energy materials, including graphene oxide, MXenes, carbon nanotube (CNTs), and MoS2-based systems, with applications in supercapacitor and bifunctional electrocatalysis (OER and HER). This work has led to several high-quality publications, with additional manuscripts currently under review.
More recently, I have initiated research on sustainable electrode materials derived from waste resources for lithium-ion battery applications, further reinforcing my commitment to environmentally responsible energy technologies. Through these projects, I have developed strong expertise in Materials synthesis, Characterizations, Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations, including structure optimization, band gap analysis, and density of states, using Quantum ESPRESSO and GaussView, Device -level simulation of supercapacitors and batteries using MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics.
I am particularly drawn to this opportunity due to your group’s strong emphasis on advanced materials design and fundamental mechanistic understanding. By drawing upon my expertise in dielectric–electronic properties, redox-active materials, interfacial engineering, electronic structure analysis, and electrochemical kinetics, I aim to actively contribute to and enhance your group’s innovative and well-established research programs.
Our ongoing academic collaboration has further strengthened my enthusiasm to work within your internationally recognized research environment known for excellence and innovation. I am a highly motivated, independent research, deeply committed to maintaining rigorous scientific standards and collaborative research excellence.
