Job Title: Postdoc in membrane manufacturing and membrane processes
Hiring Company: The Faculty of Engineering and Science, Department of Chemistry and Bioscience, Disordered Materials of Aalborg University invite applicant for postdoctoral position. The project is about membrane distillation using waste heat for hydrogen production.  The task of this postdoc will be to upscale membrane production to achieve appropriately sized membranes. Thereafter, the postdoc is going to develop the pilot plant where the membranes with modules need to be installed, the pilot plant is also expected to include hardware which responds to their own proprietary software.

Job location: Nordjylland, Denmark
Requirements:

• A PhD in chemical engineering or a closely related field
• Excellent oral and written English skills (Danish is a strong advantage)
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or C programming
• Skills in hardware and firmware programming
• Knowledge and experience in membrane manufacturing, synthesis, and scaling up membrane production
• Practical experience with membrane processes, especially desalination and membrane distillation
• Experience with project management
• A valid driver’s license
