Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering, Chemistry or a related engineering field
• 10+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or lab manufacturing environment
• 10+ years of experience working with Polymers and other raw materials
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment building strong relationships, and driving results
• Experience with raw material supplier management is a plus
• Experience in the semiconductor, specialty chemical or pharmaceutical industries
• Successful candidate should have strong collaborative R&D mindset
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in using data to identify issues, implement solutions, and track progress
• Strong project management skills and ability to execute complex projects and navigate multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with the ability to make data driven decisions and actionable recommendations
• Familiarity with a variety of analytical techniques, such as NMR, GPC, FT-IR, SEM, DMA, TGS, DSC, etc.
• Able to develop and implement project plans
• Working knowledge of Quality management skills such as SPC, FMEA, DOE, Six-sigma and use of statistical software such as JMP.
