Open Innovation Challenge: Acrylic Acid Effluent Circularity
About the challenge: Within the scope of the defossilation strategy, Evonik is looking for new innovative ideas to approach sustainable production reducing CO2 formation globally. In this challenge, we are seeking, especially, alternative usage of an aqueous effluent containing about 17 mass% Acrylic Acid, 1 mass% Acetic Acid and 3 mass% Formaldehyde. About the organizer: Evonik is one of the world's leaders in speciality chemicals. The focus is on more specialties businesses, customer-oriented innovative processes and a trustful and performance-oriented corporate culture forms the heart of Evonik’s corporate strategy. Who can participate? Everyone is welcome to participate. The intended target groups are students, PhD students, Postdocs, R&D institutions, Startups in chemistry, biology, polymers, waste management and engineering. Award Evonik will award a total of 5T€ between the three most innovative concepts and invite the awarded teams for an idea pitch within the Animal Nutrition R&D team.
